Mulberry Silk Duvets aids menopause sufferers

Menopause sufferers are finding comfort and relief when sleeping with MULBERRY SILK DUVETS.

Silk wicks away moisture and leaves you feeling dry and cool and helps when suffering from hot flashes.

What happens with hot flashes?
Hot flashes are the result of changes in the hypothalamus, the part of the brain that regulates the body's temperature.  If it mistakenly senses that a woman is too warm, it starts a chain of events to cool her down by dissipating the body heat through the blood vessels near the surface of the skin.  It causes perspiration to cool the body down.  These typically occur at night and interfere with sleep.

What does wicking mean?

Moisture wicking happens when synthetic microfibers draw(or wick) the moisture from the skin and force the moisture to the surface where it is released. Synthetic microfibers have hydrophobic (water hating) properties whereas cotton has hydrophilic (water loving) properties. Avoid cotton because it traps moisture, so it stays wet and draws heat from you.

Duvet is packed in a cloth bag
MULBERRY SILK DUVETS are made from 100% silk thread.  The duvet will wick away the moisture from the body and disperse it to the edges of the duvet.  This results in keeping you cool when suffering from hot flashes and avoids the necessity of sleeping in a wet bed.

Disturbances in sleep cause irritability, which is one of the systems of menopause.  If you are dry the whole night, you will be better able to face the day in the morning.  Women who use our MULBERRY SILK DUVETS have told us that they are better able to cope during the day, and are happy with the  feel of the duvet.

Duvet is thin, but envelopes one for all night comfort.
Down duvets are thick and pouffy, and while they look luxurious, they can cause sweating at night and the moisture collects in the cover and stays moist.  While a Mulberry Silk Duvet is thin, it surrounds your body with a light texture, making it the perfect marriage for a good night's sleep.
